Not far from the Fiera area of Milan, where a part of a wide industrial complex of the early century was completely restructured and a three-level loft was created. The roof is gabled with large sheds, and the windows are large like the typical ones of that century. The project aimed at the restoration of the existing elements for then recreating a “warming and habitable” atmosphere inside, according to the client’s needs.
The ground floor is arranged as a unique open space with a glass box kitchen overlooking the terrace and made of a continuous floor with slats of dark wood.
The large glazed openings enable a complete vision of the three levels from the basement. The plastic volume of the staircase coated in “goose beak” color resin takes you at the upper floor where the bedrooms and the relative bathrooms are, and also at the basement where you can find the “music room”.
